Do I Have To Be Diagnosed; I Need Help Now?No diagnosis is necessary for me to be able to help get unstuck. I specialise in ADHD but as a coach the principles and methodology will help anyone.
-
How Young Are The Children You Coach?I have coached children as young as 5 which is challenging as they are often not very aware of their differences from their peers. Children and parents need to work together with me in a coaching partnership to help implement and improve the challenges.
-
Do I Need To Be In The Room With My Teen Child? This is a conversation to have with your teen, I do not mind either way and am happy for you to be present, I have had adults with their parents. It is critical that when we work out how best to support the young person, we are all aware of the confidentiality that they have asked for and respect that.
-
Is There A Medicare Rebate Or Private Health Rebate?Unfortunately, not the Australian Government does not recognise ADHD Coaching under Medicare.
-
I Want To Work Privately With You, How Does That Work? The first step is to book a complementary consultation with me to see if we are a good fit, the most important part of coaching is that you feel a connection with the coach and feel a sense of safety. There may be sometimes that we need to ask some very personal questions to help you really discover what is going on, feeling safe and connect is vital to be able to dig deep. The next session will be a strategy and planning session. This is where we take a deeper look at your Executive Function/ ADHD challenges and what you would like different. In this session I fit in some coaching so that you are aware of what coaching is. In coaching you come with a topic you wish to be coached on and I ask some very specific questions to help set up the session then we dig into the topic.
-
I Can’t Pay Upfront What Are My Options? We use a direct debit payment plan method, and we can create a payment plan that is weekly, monthly or fortnightly depending on your budgeting needs. Please note that the payments are required to be completed by the end of the coaching program.
-
I Want Face To Face AppointmentsNo problem our private programs are given the options of face to face or online via zoom. Our group programs are only available online. Our office is in Arana Hills.
-
What Training Do You Have?I have completed my ADHD Certified Life Coach training with the International ADHD Coach Training Centre, I have completed Simply and Personal Transformation with ADD Coach Academy. I have been awarded the Professional Certified Coach from the International Coaching Federation which has extensive testing and reviewing processes and strict ethics. Moreover, I have a Master of Justice with a Major in Strategic Intelligence. I have a lifetime of experience only being diagnosed at 46 and all of my children have ADHD the oldest born in 2003.
-
I will never do the work for the self-paced courses, this is not how ADHD people work, how can you help me?We have many options for every type of ADHD person, from self-paced (yes there are many ADHD people who prefer not having to speak to anyone and being able to either smash through the course quickly or take their time), we also have the 12 week coach lead group coaching, where the coach will take you step by step through the different areas of ADHD and be there to help you when you are stuck in session, through to our individual programs. We have something for everyone.
-
Why is the 12-week program so much more expensive than the 9 week program? The 12-week program is coach lead, the coach will facilitate all areas of learning and coaching and be present in each 90 minute session, the other programs have been pre-recorded and do facilitate learning in them however there is not a coach available to take questions in these sessions.
